I can’t believe I forgot this last tip my jewelry teacher Jordi told me about. I like it because it’s really old school, his mom used to clean her silver jewelry like this. Here it goes.
Sew a little bag out of cotton fabric, sort of like a mini pillowcase, and put your ring, necklace, etc. inside (only 1 piece so they don’t bump into each other, you’ll see why in a second). Sew the bag shut. Do as many bags as pieces you need cleaned. Now, throw them into the washing machine with your laundry. Cool right? It’s like a giant tumbler, cleaning and buffing your jewelry while washing clothes.
