First treasury on Etsy

I should have probably learned this by now, but I hadn’t…. shameful!

My friend taught me how to make them yesterday so I dove right in and created a treasury. Here it is. I really like it :)

One of each, thanks

Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho are a duo of artists, stylists, and designers that make up CONFETTISYSTEM.  They are GENIUS!

“CONFETTISYSTEM transforms simple materials such as tissue paper, cardboard, and silk into interactive objects that create a point of focus, where memories are made and a spontaneous collaboration with the viewer is sparked. CONFETTISYSTEM’s creations occupy the space between the ephemeral and the permanent, evoking a sense of nostalgia and lighthearted fun.”

I’m a sucker for piñatas, and these give me palpitations every time I look at them (and it happens often, since these guys are featured in blogs and publications every five minutes, rightfully so!).  The combination of the piñata element and the mineral shape is just too much.  I would keep these forever in my house.

Check out their jewelry and other party essentials here.

Must have this print

By illustrator and fine artist Karina Eibatova (Eika), based in Moscow, Russia.

You can get the print from Mammoth and see her whole portfolio on Behance.  Beautiful work!
