New cufflinks

I’ve had these almost ready to post for a few days… And now here they are finally! They’re very unique, as is the whole Nugget collection. Every ‘pebble’ is one of a kind, and they’re comfortable to use (according to my cousin/product testing associate)!

They were initially intended for men, but I’ve heard from people that they would work nicely for women as well. What do you think?

Here’s the link to the store.

Nugget earrings

These post earrings are made of fine silver, and have sterling silver posts. They’re all one of a kind (not even the pairs are identical) since they’re all crafted out of a piece of individually melted silver. They are stamped in the back, and come with sterling silver clasps.

They’re gonna be in the shop soon. Keep an eye out. I made 6 pairs, but two have disappeared into my sister’s closet, hmmmmm.

(there’s another pair that’s not pictured here)

Making: Fine silver pebble pendant

I have been meaning to make this little pendant forever, as a continuation of a necklace I made a long time ago. I used fine silver pellets and just hammered them. For the pendant I was intending to make a brass rivet to give it some personality, and it turned out ok (on one side, the other one not so much). I don’t have a lot of experience with brass so I underestimated how hard it gets so I struggled with it a bit, so I resolved to cut it cross-wise and hammer it over the edge of the drill hole, instead of trying to make it go to the sides uniformly. I have to tweak the process a little, but I like the rugged look of it anyway. And every pendant will be unique as the silver pellets all come out different from when the molten silver is poured in water.
